Navigating Cyber Violence : A Literature Review of Cyber Violence and its Countermeasures

Abstract

This article provides a review of the academic literature on cyberviolence and the ways to counter it. It also attempts to illuminate the role of cyber violence on physical society. This article will further examine the role of social media literacy on countering cyberviolence. This study also analyses the data collected using desk research. Desk research refers to secondary data or the data collected without fieldwork. The data for this article are collected by reviewing published sources, that is, books, articles, and reports.
