Abstract

Research focused on classes or communities is essential as it illuminates the lives of these individuals. While extensive study has been conducted on many populations in Tamil Nadu, studies focussing on Scheduled Tribes remain comparatively few, despite their significant presence in the state’s mountainous regions. The present literature in this field rarely addresses the study
of indigenous women, focussing on their education, health, employment, and empowerment. This article endeavours to examine the education of indigenous women. This study focusses on Perambalur District in Tamil Nadu.
