Indian Women in Space Research

Abstract

The participation of women in S&T has suffered from a seriously distorted perception. Though gender disparity at all levels and its adverse impact on women has become a fact of life, yet, many women have broken this barricade and are shining in this scientific research. Today, more and more women are stepping out of their homes to make a career and establish their own identity in this field. Hence, this research paper aims to examine the professional participation of women in the field of space research in India.
