Influence of social media in fashion among Mizo youth

Abstract

The study is an analysis of the role of social media influence, particularly Instagram on fashion among the mizo youth. Since its inception in 2010, Instagram popularity has soared among the Mizo in recent times. The study explored the different functions of Instagram as facilitator of communication with its users. Quantitative research of Instagram was performed and data were analyzed using SPSS. The study revealed that Instagram plays a major role as a marketing tool and influences the buying habits of its users. It also has a great influence on fashion culture among the mizo youth.
